In Service: May 15. 1985 - August 24, 1989 K9-31, K-9 Marko Handler: Police Officer Sal Apodaca K-9 Marko was searching for a Grand Theft Auto suspect in 77th Street Area. Marko located the suspect in a crawl space of a single family residence. As the K-9 engaged the suspect a fight ensued. Marko was fatally stabbed in the head. The suspect was taken into custody. |
