Chief Trainer’s Corner
Sergeant II Doug Roller is the Chief Trainer for the LAPD Metropolitan Division K9 Platoon. He is assisted by three assistant trainers that comprise the training cadre. The Los Angeles Police Department's Metropolitan Division K9 Unit is comprised of three sections: Patrol Dogs (Police Service Dogs - Criminal Apprehension) Gun Detection Canines and Tracking and Trailing Bloodhounds.
