The Metropolitan Division K-9 Platoon has a progressive, mission-specific philosophy in the continued training and deployment of police canines. Our purpose is motivated by three decades of an unceasing reputation as a highly valued tool available to field officers in the detection and apprehension of criminals and in the futherance of reducing crime and the fear of crime.
