LAPD METRO K9 30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

June 1980 - June 2010 - 30 years of K9 Operations. In recognition of the 30 year Anniversary of the Metro K9 Platoon, this year's K9 Awards Dinner will be held on September 23, 2010, at the Los Angeles Police Academy. All current K9 handlers, alumni, family and friends are invited to attend. We welcome any old K9 photos you would be willing to share or donate copies to the K9 Platoon to chronologically capture the historical evolution of K9 Operations.
